MODULE 2: NARRATIVES AND LANGUAGE TOOLS OF SCAPEGOATING

Learning outcomes:

• identify the six recurring narratives of scapegoating across various contexts

• identify the language tools behind the narratives

connect the narratives and the language tools

MODULE 3: PRACTICE - IDENTIFYING NARRATIVES AND LANGUAGE TOOLS OF SCAPEGOATING

Learning outcomes:

• develop and consolidate the skills acquired in Module 2 by working with real-world cases

MODULE 4: NAVIGATING RESPONSIBLY AMIDST SCAPEGOATING

Learning outcomes:

• understand which common, journalistic communication practices are ineffective or even counterproductive in navigating scapegoating    

use effective journalistic communication approaches to respond to the emergence of the narratives and language tools of scapegoating

MODULE 5: PRACTICE - CASE SCENARIOS

Learning outcomes:

• develop and consolidate the skills acquired in Module 4 by working with case scenarios
