HOW TO HAVE GOOD CONVERSATIONS?
Whether we are attending a conference, going on a date, or looking for deeper bonding in our intimate relationships, conversational skills are essential. Yet most of us receive very little support in developing these skills—it seems we are simply expected to know how to navigate conversations in both social settings and our private lives. This gap is a trap that disempowers people in many ways—we may feel inadequate, small, unseen, or helpless as a result. Anna’s sessions help people break out of these limiting mindsets and connect with strangers, acquaintances, colleagues, or loved ones with confidence and ease.
In particular, her sessions empower people to let go of the anxiety associated with small talk and use specific communication tools with awareness to create pleasant, meaningful interactions in all areas of life. Through practice, participants learn, for example, how to manage their roles as speakers and listeners and how to ask questions that resonate with others. Flexibility is key in this process. The sessions are tailored to individual needs, focusing on the specific conversational skills a person wants to strengthen or build. Likewise, the number of classes varies according to each person’s needs.
There are also learning opportunities for those with more general interests. Three-hour interactive group sessions are offered in schools and workplaces, where participants collaboratively develop essential conversational skills they can apply in everyday life.
